Two more vintage finds that I had to share:

1) a 1960s dress with white ruffled details, current bid $22.50, at Past Modern Vintage.

2) a striking striped mini, current bid $11.50, from Sally-Jane Vintage.

Vintage Finds: 08/16/07, Part II

Featured this week: Posh Threads (Thierry Mugler dress), Miso Vintage (black velvet dress, black split neck dress), Mousevox Vintage (grey mod belted dress), Specialist Auctions Vintage (lace Suzy Perette dress), Little*Things (rainbow dress).

A few more finds this week. Posh Threads has a grey Thierry Mugler dress that's 32% rubber ($180), while Alleycats Vintage has a lacy Suzy Perette number for $70. The rest are under $50, starting with a $40 1960s rainbow dress, a size 20 black split neck dress (on sale for $33.15), a grey mod dress, current bid $21.51, and a $10 velvet swing dress.

Incidentally, if you just saw the grey mod piece on Popgloss, it's because I saved it to my Wists bookmarks! That's the only danger of using Wists.

Sorry for all the shopping posts lately--they're the easiest to do on the road, and I keep finding so many fun things. Also, I really owe you a Vintage Finds.

Everything this week is under $65, and most play into fall trends (leather, plaid, polka dots, jewel tones, Mary Janes, grey). From the top: an adorable $64 suit, two green pencil skirts, a $25 blue leather skirt, a va-va-voom white dress, blood-red Ferragamo heels ($50), a $25 plaid skirt, a $15 polka dot blouse, a $40 black blazer with asymmetrical button, a $16 polka dot dress and shirt set, black suede heels (current bid $15), and a brilliant purple suit for $30. After a brief hiatus, some great vintage finds this week: Ferragamo low-heeled t-straps ($39.50), a 1980s magenta shirt ($8.49), a 1930s party dress with beading ($125), an olive mini-dress (current bid $14.99), a metallic wiggle dress ($38) and a 1960s satin floral cocktail dress (not yet for sale--email seller for price and to reserve). The floral dress and hot pink shirt play into resort trends.
