A lot of people don't feel comfortable wearing leather or fur (I don't like fur, and rarely use leather). However, if you don't mind them, and feel like buying some pieces for fall (both are huge fall trends), then buy vintage. Not only are the pieces recycled, but you get much, much more bang for your buck.
Exhibit A are the above pieces from Etsy vintage seller Salvage Life. From left to right: a rabbit fur coat ($78), a grey leather jacket ($68), an Ella Moss tank ($18), and a Kors by Michael Kors high-waisted, belted leather skirt ($48). Enjoy!

Four finds for Thursday morning: a trendy vinyl motorcycle jacket (current bid $19.00), a beautifully colored Miu Miu skirt ($100), a 1950s dress for an amazing $18.99, and a faux fur military cape, current bid $44 (with six days left--it will go high).

Featured this week: Parish Vintage (polka dot dress), denisebrain (mod dress), Mama Stone Vintage (plaid dress), emmapeelpants (swirl skirt).
Last round, I swear: a navy polka dot dress ($11), a mod grey and white dress ($30.00), a plaid raw silk dress (current bid $31--will go high, I'm afraid), and satin swirl skirt, current bid £10. I almost didn't post the skirt--"satin is one letter from Satan"--but the design's gorgeous and the zipper swirls with the pattern, a great detail.
Featured this week: Archive Vintage (black dress & Gaultier top), denisebrain (grey purse), Elisa's Bodacious House of Style (black coat).
Four more to consider: An asymmetrical Thierry Mugler LBD ($300), a sheer Gaultier top with a print of Marlene Dietrich ($125, no label), a chic grey leather purse (current bid $12), and a XXL 1950s black swing coat ($50). Three more, and that's all, I swear.
Featured this week: Heaven of Gowns (1920s gown), Liebemarlene Vintage (silver flats), Ferry Vintage (Thierry Mugler jacket), and theURBANcollection (plaid pants).
Four trendy finds for Friday: a starburst 1920s gown ($1,150), silver ghillie brogues (current bid $10), a Thierry Mugler jacket with wide belt and shoulder pads (believe it or not, these are back for fall), and hard-to-wear but well-styled wide-leg plaid pants ($53). Note: The Mugler piece ships from Amsterdam, and unless you live in Europe, you'll pay about $30 on shipping (I know!). More soon.
