SS08 Trend Preview, Part I

So far, I'm unimpressed with SS08 fashion. I found the big New York names (Marc Jacobs, DVF, Ralph Lauren, Vera Wang, etc.) disappointing, and some of the big trends (maxi dresses, visible underwear, and floral prints) unnerving.

That's not to say there aren't things to look forward to next spring. Two trends to watch for: bold prints and colors (particularly red, yellow, and navy) and high, cinched waists.
