Wet Seal Does Burberry Prorsum, Miu Miu

Burberry Prorsum SS07 RTW show (via Style.com); Jewel Trim Dress, $29.50, Wet Seal.

I was amused by this Burberry Prorsum knock-off, especially since it costs $30 (the original was $5000+). I never expected to see this dress knocked off for so little--the jeweled trim seemed too expensive to replicate for Wet Seal prices. Plus, the original dress is so well-known, and the knock-off is so less successful (the dress's fashion level went from Vogue editorial-worthy to Sears prom reject). What do you think?
